The previous week was marked with “some” improvements in US labor market. Many economists believe, that it will lead to the rates raise in September. However, economic situation during the nearest weeks will bring the certainty.
So, here is the list of the events that can bring volatility to the markets on the next week:
On Monday, at 16:25 Dennis Lockhart (FOMC Member) will speak in Atlanta.
On Tuesday, at 9:00 German ZEW Economic Sentiment value will show us economic health of Germany.
On Wednesday, at 8:30 Average Earnings Index and Claimant Count Change will give us information about situation in UK labor market.
On Thursday, at 12:30 we are awaiting Retail Sales data and information about Initial Unemployment Claims simultaneously.
Later, at 10:45 we are expecting Retail Sales from New Zealand.
On Friday, early in the morning (6:00) German Preliminary GDP data will be announced.
In the afternoon, information from North America will arrive. At 12:30, Manufacturing Sales from Canada and Producer Price Index (PPI) from US. And finally, at 14:00 Preliminary index from University of Michigan regarding Consumer Sentiment is expected.
