US Federal Reserve left the interest rates unchanged. And there are quite big doubts whether it will happen later this year. It will depend on US labor market, reaction of other central banks and many other circumstances. So, what we should expect from the market-makers on the next week:
On Monday, at 18:45 Bank of Canada Governor Stephen Poloz speaks. Volatility is sometimes experienced during his speeches as traders attempt to decipher interest rate clues.
On Wednesday, at 13:00 ECB President Mario Draghi will speak in front of the European Parliament’s Economic and Monetary Committee, in Brussels.
Later, at 22:45 Trade Balance will arrive from New Zealand .
On Thursday, at 8:00 German Ifo Business Climate will be announced.
At 12:30 will arrive statistic data from US. We will get data about monthly Core Durable Goods Orders.
At the same time (at 12:30) we will have info about Unemployment Claims from US labor market.
And at 21:00 US Federal Reserve Chair Janet Yellen will speak in at the University of Massachusetts. Market volatility is expected as always during her speeches.
On Friday, at 12:30, US Bureau of Economic Analysis will publish final GDP data.
