WEEK 9 (February 29 – March 4): Forthcoming economic news-releases

Previous week US Durable Goods Orders showed the the very good results. Moreover most of US statistics is very promising in the recent time. It is increasing probability of US rate hike. Despite most of the economists believe it will not happen in March, the chances it will happen in the nearest months are more stronger now. And of course, situation on the US labor market has a very big influence on it. So, a lot of traders are waiting results of Friday’s Non-Farm Payrolls data with a big impatience.

On Tuesday, at 12:30am Australian Bureau of Statistics will publish monthly Building Approvals.

At 3:30am, Reserve Bank of Australia will announce Cash Rate – short term interest rates. And as usually Reserve Bank of Australia Rate Statement will follow.

At 9:30am Manufacturing PMI (Purchasing Managers’ Index ) in Great Britain will be released by Markit.

At 1:30pm monthly GDP will be published by Statistics Canada.

At 3:00pm The Institute for Supply Management (ISM) will release the ISM Manufacturing PMI for US.

On Wednesday, at 12:30am Australian Bureau of Statistics will publish quarterly GDP data.

At 9:30am Markit will provide Great Britain’s Construction PMI.

At 1:15pm US Non-Farm Employment Change will be announced by Automatic Data Processing, Inc. (ADP).

At 3:00pm Crude Oil Inventories release from US Energy Information Administration.

On Thursday, at 12:30am Australian Bureau of Statistics will publish monthly Trade Balance.

At 9:30am information about Services PMI from Great Britain will be released by Markit.

At 1:30pm numbers of US Unemployment Claims are expected from Department of Labor.

At 3:00pm US ISM Non-Manufacturing PMI will be released by Institute for Supply Management.

On Friday, at 12:30am Australian Bureau of Statistics will announce monthly Retail Sales.

At 1:30pm, Statistics Canada will provide Trade Balance data.

At the same time, at 1:30pm data from US labor market will arrive. As usually, US Non-Farm Payrolls data are published on the first Friday of month. And of course, US Unemployment Rate and changes in monthly Average Hourly Earnings are issued together with US NFP.
